Folio Administrators Limited was founded in the British Virgin Islands in 2001 with the intent to provide better levels of service in the areas of Hedge Fund Administration and Fund establishment. Folio has since grown progressively to become one of the largest service providers in the region.
We have subsequently expanded our operations with the establishment of Folio-ITL Fund Services Ltd in Malta in 2009 and Folio Administrators (Panama) SA in 2010. Folio-ITL is a strategic alliance which capitalizes on Malta's ideally suited geographical location, together with its legal and regulatory framework for the financial services sector. Folio Panama is a fully owned subsidiary providing additional support to our BVI office as well as access to growing markets of South and Central America.
Through the additions of our Corporate and Insurance Management Divisions, Folio is able to utilize a wealth of product and industry knowledge to structure and administer Funds, Business Companies, Special Purpose Vehicles and Insurance Companies in order to provide a complete range of services to the offshore industry.
Additionally, Folio is affiliated with a dedicated Director Services Company providing quality independent directorships with real substance and expertise, specifically to Funds.
